Dodge 2009 9-27/10-3

The Dodge race last a whole week

and is held at Hangtown race track Monday Practice
Cole coming over to talk to Ron

He had to go to work after this

he only got to see Cole's 1st practice

Kyle was there to help out the rest of the day

long nights as practice and racing only goes till 4:00

so there is alot of down time for some X box
with the mescher boys and randy

and when they were ready to sleep

today was our 27th wedding anniversary

and for the 3rd year in a row

we spent it at the trackafter his races Jan and Laurie

Friday morning rise and shine
it was a little cool in the mornings

then off they go

she was there to watch a pro guy who is a

member who is a friend of the Mescher

family and Coles friend too it has been
fun to talk to him as he just got back from his

mission to Australia which is where ron served too

Ryan was pretty excited about the jumps

Gerad took him on

twins at the races--Cole has raced with these

boys for a few years and has become friends

with them--I have been waiting to introduce

our twins to these guys--they are very nice boys

and love being twins--and were so happy to meet

they are identical if you couldn't tell

Their mom was even more excited to see

them she was so thrilled and said it

brought back so many happy memories
She said she has always dressed them like

their names Ryan in Red--Brandon in Blue
we hear this all the time with identical twins

that is the only reason I know who is who in

this pic cuz the boys themselves said about our

twins--oh he is in blue so he is yours/and

he is in red so he is mine--

now when I see them on the track I know which

one is which by the color of their gear

and I a guessing that is much easier way

to keep track of them for the parents

as they always race in the same races
Saturday Last day of Dodge

and everyone came to watch Joe was out of town friday and saturday
so Kira brought the boys again as they

were having so much fun

our home teacher came Jerry Liggett

and he brought the YM president Scott Hayden
thats the 1st time in 6 years that anyone

from the church has come to watch Cole

picking up the trophy---we are so lucky that

dodge is held close as week long races really

wear you out & our family and Coles friends

got to come watch
then home to some Xbox live and training for
the US Open in Las Vegas the next weekend

The little boys are impressed

Cole held his own racing against the

intermediates they are very fast they are

the guys just before Pro and this was Coles

1st time racing with them--I think his averge

finish was 12th or 13th out of around 25 riders

definatly not too bad for your first time

I know he had some 9th place finishes too--he

never fell and he did trophy in one division!!!

We are proud of him as that is a big jump

and great accomplishment he had this week!!
